Cabana Beach Resort

Spend a Weekend in Cabana Beach Bintan.
It was a Perfect Escapade.
Away from the Cities, away from Internet (No Wifi) at where we were staying but if we want wifi access, we will have to travel another 10km to get access.

Botanic Garden Photo Shoot

Sunday - 19th Feb, went to Botanic Garden for our 1st Photo Shoot.

Strange Encounter

Had a very strange encounter today.
Went back to school to support a rugby game.
At the same time, I also decided to walk through the school compound (exterior) to reminisce the good old times that I have spend in this school. I spend a total of 10 years here, actually it was more as I also came back to church on and off.

As I was walking around snapping some pix of the school external (I was also wearing my School T-Shirt).
Suddenly, a security guard started running towards me.

Security Guard (SG): Harlo, no taking of photo here!
Me: I didn't see any sign boards here that say cannot take.
SG: I say cannot take
Me: Uncle, do you know who I am? I am a Old Boy from this school. I came back to support the rubgy game and at the same time walking thru my own school ground and you say cannot take.
SG: Those who wants to take must ask permission
Me: Can you see anyone here? I ask who for permission? I ask Ghost har?
SG: You must follow me to the office.
Me: Fine, since you want to make it so big................ let's go.

I was been showed into the office and I met this man.

Man to SG: Yes?
SG: I caught him outside the school taking pix
Me: Hi, My name is xxx and I am a Old Boy of this school, I explained further: I missed the school so much, and since I came by for Rugby game, I thot I could just snap some pix for my own reference.
Man: Sure, no problem. I can see that you are a Old Boy of this school.
Me: Are you one too? And we begin to chat and chat. I even state that the room that is been converted into a Diocese Centre Office here was the staff room as well as the principal office.

As we chat on...................... the security guard could see that the man in charge was not going to scold me and he quietly slip out of the room.

What a Ass!!! Real waste of my time.

Photography Club

A friend of mine "Pingus" aka Ksong has plans to set up a Photography Club.
I think he will start off with a small team 1st.
When I receive his messenge from Whatsapp, Immediately I say Yes.
Gotta support him, local talent mah LoLxxxxxx.
What's important is:
1. We want to start small
2. We want to gather people with passion for photography (No need experts lah...... they are hard to work with).
Soon, we will be roaming the Street snapping.
Hope to see Blogs and FB Pages for the Photography Club been set up too.

一度赞牛肉面, Yi Du Zhan

This brand of instant noodles comes 2nd (in my opinion) after my all time favourie 一度赞牛肉面.
It can be pretty expensive but satisfaction guaranteed. 一度赞牛肉面 cannot be sold in Singapore because it did not subject itself for AVA testing and registration. This brand did and it can be found I believe in NTUC. Cost: $11.60 for 3 packet. But it is all worth the $$$ as l be chunks of meat (whether you go for Pork or Beef).

The Below Story is Silly but quite Funny. It happened today @ Sentosa.
I was there for the Flower Fair. Here I am, waiting in the Small Carpark for lot. Waited for 10mins..... (BTW, the ERP carpark charges was clocking ok - that means I am paying $$$).

Saw a car coming out (I was happy like Bird)...... and before I can react to it, a Old Uncle came from behind and drove towards it. I was like WTF!!!

While he was reversing, I quickly drove right in (Head-in Parking) and this resulted in the following conversation.

1st Uncle: Came out of the car, Harlo that's my lot, You cannot see me Reversing is it?
Me: Is it? I waited for 10mins, U mean U didn't see my car?
Uncle: This is my Friend's lot, he left for me to park. You saw the car juz came out? That's my friend.
Me: Ok, U call yr fren back, I pass U the lot. The Attendant Aunty there can witness I waited for 10mins. (Aunty walked towards us and verifies with Uncle: Yes, he was here 1st)
2nd Uncle: (Came out of car) Come on man, we are Old People. U r Young man, why can't U give us the lot.
Me: Uncle, it's not about Old or Young, I waited for 10mins, U in the 1st place has got no respect. U cut my Q and now U r talking to me abt all this Old People Theory. U simply got no respect for drivers, and U r a driver yourself. BTW, where's your friend? Call him lah. He comes back I pass you the lot. Dun come and bluff me hor!
2nd Uncle: U really har..... don't know Filial Piety. Simply NO Respect ......
Me: Uncle, U dun come and talk to me about Old People and Now talk about Filial Piety. Are U my father? What Filial Piety? I have to show it to U? Are You my Father x 2???
This is a real BullShit and a Turn Off. Uncle, are you out to spoil and mess up my New Year? If you are, than I will also Mess up your New Year. You understand me?

Of course not all Old people are like this. This is really a absurd case andI won't take it lying down.
1stly, he cut my line, now he lecture me about me not giving the lot to Old People and Filial Piety. Really make me Unleash the Dragon Temper in me out to him. Like I say: Filial Piety to him! What a D@mned joke.

Year of the Water Dragon 2012

As Chinese New Year draws closer, Jen and myself headed down to ChinaTown again (This is the 3rd time we were there), also to capture some shots of the Water Dragon.
The other 2x we were there was on a Day time visit. So this time round, we stay till 7.30pm just to capture some shots of it. Not too bad, manage to take afew good shots.

This is perhaps one of the Best Instant Noodles I had ever eaten.

I went to Taiwan in the year 2000 and since than have fallen in love with this noodles.
Though it is instant noodles, but it really does have chunks of real meat carefully packed inside a special sealed foilled package. It has a expiry date of up to 2 years.
Simply Yummilicious.

Bye to 2011, Harlo 2012

Still remember me saying to myself in the begining of 2011 that I was not ready for the year 2011. Before knowing.......... and was still trying to adapt to 2011, bad news dude, 2012 is just 2 days away.
Seriously, once again I am not ready for 2012 (dun know why)!
No anticipation, No expectation, 3 words: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing.
All I could possibly say is: TIME FLIEssssssss and soon it will be 2013 (LoLxxxxxx).

Anyway, will be doing the usual stuff like: Reviewing what has been done for the year 2011 and 2012 New Year Resolution.

Singapore Zoo

Went to the Singapore Zoological Gardens today at Mandai Road.
2 Families was there:
1. Gabriel's family
2. My Family.
It has been a super long time eversince I set foot into the Zoo.
And of coz alot have since change..... and of coz change towards the better.

Still remember the incident where a man was bitten to death by the white tiger in one occassion in Singapore.While the Wild Boars and Kangaroos were lazing around, most of the other animals was seen in a super active mood and spirit.Caught this White Horse galloping aggressively around the Horse pan. Where's the rider?

This was indeed a surprise as we caught the sight of 2 Baboons "Bonking" (doing the do and making the make). What a sight!
